Yoshida Tea Garden's Kukihojicha is roasted in a short time (about 30 seconds) using the "sand roasting" method, which is becoming rare these days. In the past, ``sand'' from the Abe River in Shizuoka Prefecture was used, but now ``fine ceramics'' are used instead of ``sand.'' The tea is roasted in a short time by placing the raw tea in a ceramic heated to a high temperature and roasting them together. The temperature of the tea should be at least 150 degrees, and any ceramics should be removed through a sieve. Therefore, it is necessary to remove fine particles from the tea at the raw material stage. Because it does not contain fine tea, you can enjoy a wide range of flavors, from short extraction (30 seconds) with a sweet aroma and rich aftertaste to long extraction (2 minutes) with a rich richness and depth. .
